What If Being Spirit-Led Was... Normal?

What if being Spirit-led wasn’t just for the “super spiritual”? You know, those who always seem to have a word from the Lord, journal in calligraphy, and never miss a 5 AM prayer walk. What if, instead, being led by the Spirit is actually the normal way God invites all of us to live—yes, even in the chaos of school runs, staff meetings, and late-night Netflix scrolls?

That’s exactly what I want to preach about in an upcoming series.

We’re exploring powerful moments in Scripture where God’s Spirit shows up—leading people into wild obedience, unexpected risks, and life-altering freedom. From desert wanderings to prison walls, from holy whispers to tongues of fire, the Spirit has never been one to stay still or predictable. And here’s the kicker: He’s still moving today.

This isn’t about having all the answers or waiting for lightning bolts of clarity. It’s about becoming open. Attentive. Available. It’s about tuning your heart to the gentle nudges and bold shoves of the Spirit—and finding the courage to follow, even when the path doesn’t make sense.

So if you’ve ever wondered if God could actually lead you, not just the “really spiritual” ones… stick around. You might be surprised at what happens when you start to listen. We’ll begin this series at our church on June 8 (2025).
